What's a "skin"?

A PULPchat skin is just a background .JPG or .GIF image. The skin is fixed and does not move as text scrolls up and down on top of it. Scrollbars also float above the skin and can be positioned anywhere, to the right or the left of the text. Scrollbars can be transparent, with the controls sliding up and down on an invisible track.

Only PULPchat has multiple areas of transparent, scrolling content on a single html page. They can even overlap! This technology gives graphic artists complete freedom. A chat room that works well is okay. PULPchat is a chat room that works well and looks amazing!
