PULPchat Paid Accounts

Paid accounts simply offer greater capacity and reliability. Extra features are available with paid accounts that are not available with free accounts simply because these features require additional bandwidth. The following charts list the standard accounts currently available. These accounts were designed to fit most sites' needs. Accounts can also be tailored to your specific needs by contacting sales@pulpchat.com.

Definitions and Details

• Branded Accounts
  These accounts must display the PULPchat logo somewhere within the design of the chat room. We do not use any banner ads or other types of third party advertising in paid accounts. The PULPchat logo promotes our chat rooms by linking back to this site. We feel this is a small price to pay for having a chat room that you can completely customize with your own logo, colors and graphics. We'll provide the PULPchat logo in any color, to match your design.
• Private Label Accounts
  Private Label accounts do not display the PULPchat logo or indicate pulpchat.com in the chat room or the url. These accounts are also placed on dedicated servers, separate from the PULPchat Branded accounts. If you want to use PULPchat for an adult site, then a Private Label account is required. For more information, see this FAQ.
  
  All Private Label accounts are set up per customer specifications. Setup fee is based on the desired options and the complexity of the configuration. Unless specified, rates for setup and design are $35/hour.
• Concurrent Users
  The account type indicates the maximum number of people that can be in your chat room simultaneously. For example, the "25 User" account provides bandwidth for a maximum of 25 concurrent users in your chat room. There is no limit to the total number of people that can visit your chat room during each day.
• Reserved Names
  The number of password protected screen names that you can reserve with the User Manager control panel. If you are going to use your own database then this column does not apply to you.
• User Manager
  One of several online control panels that allows you to reserve screen names with passwords, kick or ban undesired users, and assign moderators.
• Layout Editor
  One of several online control panels that allows you to make changes to the appearance and layout of your chat room, including window size, position of objects, and colors.
• Log Access
  One of several online control panels that allows you to view and perform searches on the log files for your chat room.
• Private Windows
  Allows all users to open multiple windows to have private conversations with other users. All PULPchats have the ability to send private messages within the main window. This feature is optional and can be enabled or disabled in your preferences control panel.
• Priority Support
  Support requests from these accounts are placed ahead of other requests in the queue. An additional Service Level Agreement (SLA) may be purchased by contacting sales@pulpchat.com.
• Cost per User
  This column shows how much your chat room costs you in terms of your users. For example, say your site has 100 members that have paid a fee of $12 per year, or $1 a month. That means you are making $100 a month. A 25 User PULPchat only costs you $16 a month, or 0.64 a month per user and will dramatically add to the enjoyment and loyalty of your members.
