Can I have my own banner ads in my PULPchat window?

Yes, you just have to use a frameset. First, open a popup window with your own frameset page. One frame links to your PULPchat and the other frame links to your banner ad page. It couldn't be simpler.

Important Tip:
Placing PULPchat inside another frameset will disable the "vibrate" feature of the PULPchat pager.
