FAQ - PULPchat Setup

last modified Jul 27, 2021

Does PULPchat have to be in a popup window?

No. You could have a frameset with your website in one frame and your PULPchat in another frame. The frame that contains PULPchat should be a fixed size and should have  scrolling="no"  in the frame tag. Of course, you could have your entire website launch in a popup window that's not resizable and you could have your content in one frame and your PULPchat in another frame. This approach works well with Flash websites or with video conferencing applications.

Most newer browsers support  <iframe>  which makes it possible to embed PULPchat within a page. To learn how to do this, see This FAQ.

Important Tip:
Placing PULPchat inside another frameset will disable the "vibrate" feature of the PULPchat pager.
