FAQ - PULPchat Setup

How do I launch PULPchat from my site?

These instructions are for launching PULPchat in a popup window. If you want to embed PULPchat, see How do I embed PULPchat in my page?.

First, copy the Javascript function below to the Javascript section of your page. If you're not sure what this means, see Where does the Javascript go?.

Next, You'll need a link like this one:

<a href="#" onClick="goPULP('myAccountID',600,360)">My PULPchat</a>

Change  myAccountID  to the Account ID you picked when you signed up. The standard size PULPchat window is 600 by 360. If you have changed the window size in your Layout Control Panel, then you'll need to change it in your links as well.
