Why the name PULPchat?

As the story goes, Rob was sitting at his desk back in '01, trying to think of what to call his new chat invention. There were already hundreds of chatrooms and every name he could think of, appeared in a Google search as an existing product. As he leaned back in his chair and uttered a heavy sigh, he noticed something that gave him an idea. On the wall, above his desk, hangs the framed poster from one of his favorite movies, Pulp Fiction.

After thinking about it for a while, it all made sense. The movie was about three separate stories of people that were all intertwined in some way. Chatrooms are kind of like that. Pulp is juicy (Rob lives in Florida, he was thinking of oranges). Chat conversations can be juicy. And there it was...
