What browsers and platforms does PULPchat support?

New browsers are coming out all the time and we strive to support them all. We have even gone to great lengths to continue to support older browsers like Netscape 4. If you find a browser or operating system where PULPchat does not work, please send an email to support@pulpchat.com. Obviously, we cannot support every single browser and platform in existence but we feel we've covered more than most, especially since PULPchat doesn't use Java or any other weird plugins.

Browsers supported under Windows 98, Me, 2000, NT, and XP:
• Internet Explorer 5.0, 5.5, 6.0b, 6.0
• Firefox 1.0
• Opera 7+
• Crazy Browser 1.0
• Netscape 6.0, 6.1, 6.2, 7.0, 7.2
• AOL 6.0, 7.0, 8.0, 9.0
• Netscape 4.6, 4.7

Browsers supported under Macintosh OS8, OS9, and OSX:
• Internet Explorer 5.0, 5.1, 5.2
• Firefox 1.0
• Safari 1.0
• Chimera 0.6
• Netscape 6.1, 6.2, 7.0
• AOL 6.0, 7.0, 8.0, 9.0
• Netscape 4.6, 4.7

Browsers supported under Linux:
• Mozilla 5.0 Gecko/20021003, Gecko/20030122 (Netscape 6)

Support planned for 2005:
• Mobile Phones
• PalmOS, Blackberry (and other handhelds)

If your don't see your browser listed, it may be because we haven't had a chance to verify whether it works with PULPchat or not. If you use a particular browser with PULPchat and its not listed here, please email us!
